Jetpack has released version 16.3 of its WordPress plugin, a major update that adds three new blocks and reorganizes settings. According to Search Engine Journal’s coverage, the release also improves accessibility, security and the plugin’s connection to WordPress.com.
The changes touch video, forms, newsletters and site statistics. Several fixes target problems that site owners reported as confusing or disruptive.
Three New Blocks in the WordPress Plugin
The Latest Videos Playlist block keeps a playlist filled with a site’s newest VideoPress videos, so owners no longer update it by hand. The All Playlists block shows every VideoPress playlist in one place for visitors to browse.

The Zoom Scheduler block adds appointment booking to WordPress posts or pages. Visitors can book Zoom meetings without leaving the site.
Forms, Features and Newsletter Changes
Jetpack 16.3 adds conditional logic to Forms, so questions can change based on each visitor’s answers. It also gives owners more control over deleting spam and other responses, with safeguards against accidental permanent deletion.
A new Features tab replaces the Products tab and brings every Jetpack feature into one place. Owners can find, activate and deactivate features there and see which are free or part of paid plans.

Newsletter controls now sit together in one sidebar, covering email delivery and newsletter categories. Stats settings move into the Stats dashboard, which gives users of the standalone Stats plugin access to controls they previously lacked.
The Jetpack AI setup guidance now covers more AI apps, adding ChatGPT and Codex alongside Claude, Cursor and VS Code. The Daily Writing Prompt widget gains a Freshly Pressed tab featuring posts curated by WordPress.com editors.
Connection, Accessibility and Security Fixes
The update improves how Jetpack monitors and repairs the link between a self-hosted site and WordPress.com services such as Stats, Activity Log, VaultPress Backup, Search, Scan and VideoPress. Jetpack’s announcement says it fixed cases where a healthy site was reported as having a connection problem.
“Reconnecting also repairs just the owner’s account now, instead of disconnecting every user.”
For accessibility, information tooltips now open from the keyboard, close on Escape and announce their content to screen readers. Chart fixes address unreadable axis labels in high-contrast mode, and a VideoPress trend chart keeps its comparison lines distinguishable for color-blind viewers.
Security changes cover three areas: handling incoming requests, verifying user logins and validating stored website content. The changelog identifies them as security fixes.
What Site Owners Can Do Next
Sites that use Jetpack can review the new Features tab after updating to see which tools are switched on. Owners weighing their plugin setup can read why WordPress is a strong platform choice, compare managed WordPress hosting, or request a free website audit.
